2025 Annual Fondue Dinner & General Assembly

WHERE: Garden Hills Recreation Center, Buckhead/Atlanta
PART I: Dinner
We (the Board) will get out our professional cheese cookers and make a huge Fondue for you. We will provide bread, tea, coffee and water.
You (the fondue lovers) bring your own appetizer, burner, fondue pot (caquelon), forks, plates, glasses as well as wine and drinks to go with your dinner.
Also, please bring a – preferably homemade – dessert to share. If you do not have a burner or a caquelon, let us know and we can arrange for you to join someone that has one.
Oh, and don't forget to bring enough burner fuel, and ideally a pair of oven mitts. The mitts may be needed to take your preheated pots to and from the deck where our cooks are preparing the fondue. We'll let you know when to start preheating your pot. Preheating should eliminate any of the clumping or consistency issues we occasionally experienced at past years' fondue events.
PART II: General Assembly
Just like last year, we'll be conducting the Club's General Assembly on the same date, at the same location, right after the Fondue dinner, before dessert is served.
During the General Assembly, we'll quickly run through the formal part, i.e., a review of Club finances, reflection on the past year's events, acceptance of last year's minutes, and board Member elections for 2025-2026.
Over the next few days, you will receive a separate email containing the ballot and a proxy form. Printed ballots will also be available at the event.
Members not able to attend the General Assembly in person, please email or text a legible picture of your completed proxy form (form will be attached in the above-mentioned email), taken with your smartphone or tablet, to our VP and Secretary, John Bell. (johnbe2@gmail.com) and to our Secretary, Klaus-Hermann Dahmen (khdahmen@outlook.com).

2. Registration may be cancelled without penalty either through the website or in an email to contact@sasatlanta.org, as long as that cancellation is submitted by 11:59 pm on February 25.
